Registration fees and accommodation

The Summer Study is a unique event sold as a one-week package. It includes conference fee, full-board accommodation, coffee breaks and on-site activities and social events. We are creating an event where people stay on site, get to know each other, and network over several days.

Code of Conduct for participants

eceee aims to be a safe space for everyone to exchange ideas and, as part of this, we have developed a code of conduct for participants at the Summer Study. Read more.

eceee membership discount

The discount for members is €75.00.

There is no automatic control of membership upon registration. If you are a member, please just check the button. If you are not a member and request membership discount, you will get an invoice from eceee following your registration. For questions about memberships. Please contact eceee@eceee.org.

One package, two invoices

Registrations are managed by our partner in France, Mathez, a trusted company that has helped eceee for over a decade to manage our Summer Studies. After registering, you will get two invoices:

  • The first invoice is for the conference fee itself, The conference fee is €650.00 and a membership discount of €75 will apply.  (For registrations after 25th April, a €100 surcharge plus €10 VAT will apply).
  • The second invoice will deal with the accommodation package. 

VAT issues

    • The registration fee itself (€620,00 or €695,00 depending on discunts) is subject to 10% VAT which will be added on the invoice and is not included in the prices below. This VAT is normally refundable if you apply for refund in your home country. 
    • The accommodation fee includes a special travel operator VAT, which is included in the prices. This VAT cannot be deducted.

    Note: Prices below are for the full package and include conference fee and all accommodation and on-site services. 10% VAT will be included on the conference fee.

    A late registration fee of €100 will apply on registrations after 23 April.

    By paying the registration and hotel fees you agree on the following terms and conditions:

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Please see registration page.

    FORCE MAJEURE

    • In case the conference is cancelled due to a decision by the French Government (due to lock-down, natural disaster etc) eceee will repay the hotel-related costs
      minus 12% admin fee. For registration fees, we will provide a voucher worth €500 for future eceee events (or equal to the amount you paid if less than €500)
    • In case your own government restricts travel, but not the French government, eceee will not make any refunds
